Wheelchairs and walkers are available the entire year free of charge. You can find them at different beach pavilions, among others Alexander beach, De Koele Costa and Take 2. The beach pavilions where you can find these so called ‘Jutter’ beach wheelchairs and walkers are marked with a (beach wheelchair) Jutterflag. Near the exits there are some special parking spots for handicapped people available. During the winter period you can pre-order them at Mr. C. Imthorn. Because of the soft and wide air wheels, the wheelchairs are perfectly suited for beach sand. Besides that they are also resistant against sea water, so you can go into the water a little bit.
