Noordwijk space city!

Noordwijk has a lot to offer, also in the field of space exploration! There is no other place in the Netherlands where so much knowledge & know-how can be found about space exploration as in Noordwijk. People from all over the world meet at ESTEC: the technical heart of ESA, the European Space Agency. It is therefore a matter of course that many congresses about this topic are organised in Noordwijk and most ESA projects are born in this seaside resort.

At present, the Space Business Park is being built in Noordwijk. A building in the shape of an actual meteorite has been erected now. Many other ‘spacy’ buildings will rise here in the future. And there is of course the Space Expo, where you can experience the life of an astronaut! Here, you can find out everything about planets, the birth of stars and gravity. You can also find rocket parts and a full-scale model of the lunar module here. In short: Noordwijk is the space to be!
