European Sand Sculptures Festival 2010

From August till the end of August the European Sand Sculptures Festival took place at the Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard in Noordwijk aan Zee for the third time.

This year the motto of the famous sand-festival was: SPACE SCULPTURES.

On Sunday, August 22th the cavers began to work. Within 6 days they created the most beautiful sculptures which were awarded on Friday, August 27th by a competent  jury. Visitors could see the sculptures for free until October 3rd . A lot of people visited the festival this year.
