At no other spot in the Netherlands you will find as much know-how on space flights as here, in our hometown of Noordwijk. ESTEC is the technical heart and is based already since 1975 in Noordwijk. People from the whole world meet each other at ESTEC. Noordwijk therefore has a close connection with the topic ‘space’. This explains why, every year, many congresses are organised on this subject. At the moment, the Space Business Park is under construction. By now, there is a spectacular building in the form of a meteorite. In the future, also many other ‘spacy’ buildings will arise here. In short: Noordwijk is ‘the space to be !’

Open Day ESTEC on the 7th October!
After the close contact with ‘Space’ this summer, there will be even more to discover and enjoy as to space and space travel. You will get the unique opportunity to have a look at the heart of European space activities at Estec in Noordwijk. You will get to places where otherwise nobody may get to. Space Expo
Rockets, the lunar module, the International Space Station, artificial moons: they become reality at Space Expo. You will even find a real piece of stone of the moon, the space suit of André Kuipers, solar cells of the Hubble Space Telescope and a Russian spy satellite. www.space-expo.nl
