Noordwijk's 'Sea Water'
A deliciously sweet cordial, produced exclusively by Drinkland Noordwijk BV. It comes highly recommended! This is a classic distilled Jenever (Dutch gin) with hints of cinnamon, cloves and vanilla. Maarten Kruystraat 24, Noordwijk.
'De Redder'
The 'De Redder' work of art stands on the Noordwijk strip. The sculpture was commissioned by Noordwijk council, and was completed by sculptor Charlotte van Pallandt (1899-1997). It was made to commemorate the 150 year anniversary of the Rescue Foundation. A replica of "De Redder" can be purchased at Jan Hobbel Souvenirs in Hoofdstraat 7b, Noordwijk.
Noordwijk lighthouse
The first beach light dates back to 1444, when a large fire was lit to guide the local fishermen home. During the nineteenth century the first small, wooden lighthouse was built. The current lighthouse, which is located on the boulevard, dates back to 1921. A replica of the Noordwijk lighthouse can be purchased at Jan Hobbel Souvenirs in Hoofdstraat 7b, Noordwijk.
