Can I go to the beach?

The beach is open. All the more reason to head outdoors. However: avoid crowds and keep a social distance of 1.5 metres. So jump on your bike whenever you can. If you want to be sure of a place in Noordwijk, book an overnight stay in one of the beautiful accommodations, or reserve a deckchair at your favourite beach pavilion in advance. This way we can all enjoy ourselves to the fullest.

Beach pavilions and restaurants The beach pavilions and other restaurants are open again from 1 June. Check out the 10 rules you have to observe before heading for the outdoor café once more.

Toilets

The toilets in the beach pavilions are open again, when they are accessible from outdoors. Naturally the 1.5-metre social distancing and hygiene rules apply here too.

What has reopened?

From 1 July restaurants, beach pavilions and cafés are open again for up to 100 people at a time with no limit on terraces; do however book in advance. Cinemas, theatres and concert are fully open if you book in advance and get a health check. Museums have also reopened. However a ticket must be bought in advance for all cultural institutions. The campsites and holiday parks in the Netherlands will be open fully again from 1 July, including communal sanitary facilities. Restaurants and cafés are allowed to open their doors to up to 100 people at a time.

The retailers in Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout are ready for you. Here you’ll find the latest information, special offers and services for shopping in the Hoofdstraat in Noordwijk aan Zee, in Kerkstraat in Noordwijk Binnen, and in Noordwijkerhout. Take advantage of this and support the local entrepreneurs!

 The restaurants are open again and will be happy to welcome you. Book in time and keep each other in mind. Naturally you can also keep using all the takeaway and delivery options in Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout. So you can also enjoy the most delicious dishes at home.

Where can I stay overnight?

Recreational overnight stays at campsites, bungalow parks, beach cottages and bed & breakfast accommodation in the municipality of Noordwijk became possible again from 1 May at noon. The facilities on campsites and holiday parks will open again from 15 June. Read the latest emergency notice from Noordwijk Municipality.

What is there to do now?

Looking for a fun activity? Many sports and culture activities are open once more. Make sure that you always stay at least one and a half metres from each other. Go for a walk, take your bike and feel the spring.
