On this special page we try to inform you about the current status in Noordwijk during the corona virus. Here you find frequently asked questions and answers, but also initiatives and possibilities from the catering industry, accommodations and shops. This page will be updated regularly. 

We advise everyone to follow the advice and measures of the Dutch government and to avoid social contact that is not necessary as much as possible. 

We are in a strict lockdown from 15 December until at least Tuesday 19 January 2021.

Can I go to the beach?

The beach is open. All the more reason to head outdoors. However: avoid crowds and keep a social distance of 1.5 meters. So jump on your bike whenever you can. If you want to be sure of a place in Noordwijk, book an overnight stay in one of the beautiful accommodations. This way we can all enjoy ourselves to the fullest.

Beach pavilions

Beach pavilions are closed from 15 December until at least Tuesday 19 January 2021. 

Toilets

The toilets in the beach pavilions are closed.

Where can I shop now?

Shops such as clothing stores, shoe shops, jewellery shops and shops selling craft supplies will also be closed. The government's aim in this regard is to limit contact between people as much as possible. Supermarkets, bakeries, butchers and other shops where food is sold can remain open, as can establishments such as pharmacies, chemists and petrol stations.

Establishments serving food and drink (including in hotels) will be closed from 15 December until at least Tuesday 19 January 2021.

Where can I stay overnight?

What is there to do now?

Venues such as museums, theatres, amusement parks, zoos, casinos, saunas, indoor sporting venues will be closed from 15 December until at least Tuesday 19 January 2021. 

Make sure that you always stay at least one and a half meters from each other. Go for a walk, take your bike and feel the fresh wind.
