One of the toughest and most beautiful cross-country runs in the Bollenstreek and surrounding area

On Sunday, 8 November 2026, we are organising a unique and challenging sporting event at Langevelderslag, in close cooperation with Vrijstaat Nederzandt. Without a doubt, this will be one of the toughest and most beautiful cross-country runs in the Bollenstreek and surrounding area.

What makes the NederZandtCross so unique?

Forget the standard laps. The course around Vrijstaat Nederzandt/Langevelderslag has it all: a tough yet beautiful mix of dunes, woodland and beach all in one route. Mostly off-road, with elevation changes and a section along the beach – a real mix between a trail run and a competitive road race.

For the first time, we will also run through the dunes towards Noordvoort, the nature reserve bordering the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen.

Whether you are going for the shorter course or looking to test your endurance, there is a suitable distance for everyone. There are three distances for seniors: 3.8 km, 10.2 km and 16.6 km.

The exact courses for all three distances are displayed on the boards in the clubhouse and are also available on the website.
