Noordwijk comprises four entire centers, all with their own history: Noordwijk aan Zee, Noordwijk Binnen, Noordwijkerhout and De Zilk.

From the north, Noordwijk starts at De Zilk. As early as the 17th century, wealthy merchants and nobles from the big cities visited this area to enjoy fresh air, peace and beauty on their country estates. The cozy and hospitable Noordwijkerhout is located in the heart of the flower bulb region. Built around the characteristic "Witte Kerk" (White Church) from 1620 with cozy terraces, shops and close to the dunes and beach. In the charming streets of Noordwijk Binnen you can feel the history in the architecture. A walk through the Voorstraat lets you feel what it looked like back then. The many herb shops from back then form the basis for a high-quality and diverse range of shops today. From a characteristic bookstore to a special cheese specialist. And everything in between.
