Climb the tower and enjoy the breathtaking view

The tower of the Oude Jeroenskerk will once again be open to visitors every Saturday this year—for the 14th season. It’s quite a climb, as the tower has 147 steps! The observation deck is 35 meters up, the spire is 45 meters high, and the walls are 2 meters thick. From the top, you’ll have a stunning view of Noordwijk, the surrounding area, and the North Sea. During the climb, a guide will share all sorts of interesting facts about the church’s history, the clockwork, and the bells. The Old Jeroen Tower on Heilige Geestweg is open to visitors every Saturday afternoon through September.

It is also possible to arrange guided climbs for groups on other days and outside this period by appointment.
