Luxury holiday home in monumental bulb barn (10 people) near the beach

In the beautiful village center of Noordwijk Binnen, 5 minutes from the beach, you will find this characteristic bulb barn from 1909. Completely renovated in 2019 and converted into a luxury holiday home for 10 people, including 2 children. With 4 attractive bedrooms, 3 marble bathrooms and a large, open living space, we offer families and groups of friends a wonderful stay. In Noordwijk you can enjoy the beach all year round and in the spring the bulb fields. Welcome!

The space
The holiday home is on the second and third floor of the bulb barn. The bedrooms with bathroom en-suite are on the second floor. One bed is a built-in bunk bed (80 cm x180 cm) intended for 2 children, so that a total of 10 people can stay (max. 8 adults).

The living area is on the top floor. There you can cook extensively in the spacious kitchen and have a nice dinner. You can also enjoy the sun through the open skylights. And from the view of the dunes, with Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin as a landmark. You can reach the beach in 5 minutes by car, 15 to 20 minutes on foot. The guests have the entire first and second floor to themselves. On the ground floor is a quiet office of the owner. The holiday home and the office only share the entrance.

Winner heritage prize
Nice to know is that with this former bulb barn the owners won the Heritage Prize 2019 from the Old Village Center Association in Noordwijk. The jury was unanimous in the assessment and indicated: “The renovation of this municipal monument was a daring undertaking because the building was about to collapse. Something great has been achieved with courage, energy and perseverance, so that this characteristic building - with very high cultural-historical value - is preserved for the future. Because much attention has been paid to the hidden architectural details, these are fully visible again. The bulb barn is a source of inspiration for other developments in the historic village center.”
