A route through the life and philosophy of a woman with a mission. Dr. Maria Montessori (1870–1952) was an Italian physician and educator, the founder of the Montessori Method, which is based on the natural curiosity and autonomy of children. She loved coming to Noordwijk to unwind amidst the sea and bulb fields. Here she found inspiration, peace, and ultimately, her final resting place.     Maria Montessori hield van de zee en de natuur. Op 81-jarige leeftijd overleed ze in ‘Het Huis aan Zee’. De plechtige uitvaartdienst vond plaats in de Maria ter Zeekerk.

    De Trap van Rinus is de karakteristieke duintrap aan Het Laantje in Noordwijk-Binnen. Genoemd naar een medewerker van Staatsbosbeheer, vormt hij de toegang tot de Coepelduynen en biedt hij een mooi uitzicht op duinen en bollenvelden.
