Writing workshop for non-native speakers

To mark this anniversary, we’re organising an inspiring writing workshop for anyone who enjoys writing or would like to give it a go. This workshop is for non-native speakers.

Are you learning Dutch and do you enjoy writing? The library is celebrating and is therefore treating participants to four fun writing sessions! Discover just how inspiring writing in Dutch can be! In this creative workshop, you’ll play with words, language and imagination. The focus isn’t on technical writing skills but on the content. We’ll be writing short pieces on the theme of ‘celebration’.

‘FEEST’ Writing Competition
This workshop is linked to a writing competition on the theme of ‘Feest’. Want to take part? You can submit your story after the workshop or before 1 October via schrijfwedstrijd@bibliotheekbollenstreek.nl. During the workshop, we’ll explain how to enter. The judging panel will assess all entries and ultimately select three stories. The public jury will then vote, and a winner will be chosen during the anniversary party on 6 November. The winner will receive a tablet. Read all the terms and conditions.
