Are you ready for the challenge?

Walk five different routes through Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout between 1 and 30 September 2026 and discover villages, dunes, beaches, art and history along the way. Collect five stickers, earn the unique Walking Challenge pin and be in with a chance to win some great prizes.

How to take part

  1. Pick up your Walking Challenge brochure at VVV Noordwijk or VVV Noordwijkerhout, or download it here.

  2. Choose a route and start walking.

  3. Collect the sticker that belongs to the route along the way.

  4. Stick it on the card on the back of your brochure.

  5. Collect the stickers from all five routes.

  6. Hand in your completed card at VVV Noordwijk or VVV Noordwijkerhout by 5 October 2026 at the latest.

Complete all five routes to earn the unique Walking Challenge pin as a reward for your achievement. Your completed card will also enter you into the prize draw, giving you the chance to win some fantastic prizes.

You can walk the five routes and collect the stickers from 1 to 30 September 2026.

Do I have to walk the routes in a particular order?

No. You decide where to start, when to walk and in which order you complete the five routes.

Do I have to complete all the routes in one day?

No. You have the whole month of September to complete all five routes.

The Walking Challenge card is available free of charge from VVV Noordwijk and VVV Noordwijkerhout, or you can download it here.

Where can I find the walking routes?

Where can I collect the stickers?

Each route has its own sticker location. You can collect the corresponding Walking Challenge sticker there during opening hours.

When and where do I hand in my completed card?

Hand in your completed Walking Challenge card by 5 October 2026 at the latest at:

  • VVV Noordwijk, Hoofdstraat 129
  • VVV Noordwijkerhout, Havenstraat 10

What do I get if I complete all five routes?

Once you have completed all five routes and collected all five stickers, you earn the unique Walking Challenge pin. You will also be entered into the prize draw.

What prizes can I win?

A range of prizes will be drawn among participants with a completed Walking Challenge card. You can find an overview of the prizes at www.noordwijk.info/walkingchallenge.

Can I take part together with other people?

Yes, of course. Each person taking part needs their own Walking Challenge card and must collect all five stickers themselves.

Are the routes suitable for children?

This varies by route. The routes range from approximately 2 to 11 kilometres, so the shorter routes in particular are suitable for walking with children.

Can I bring my dog?

This depends on the route and the area you are walking through. Check the route information beforehand for the applicable rules.

When will the prize winners be announced?

The winners will be contacted personally after the Walking Challenge has ended.
